Bio

Marguerita Merrick received an M.A. in Shakespeare from the Shakespeare Institute in Stratford-upon-Avon and has written an M.Phil thesis on modernist poetry through the University of London.  She also holds a B.A. in English literature from Columbia University.  Since completing her graduate degree, she has taught in international schools, lectured on Shakespeare and poetry and led writing workshops.  Additionally, she has many years of private tutoring experience with students from private and public schools throughout New York City.  Having worked for a number of top test prep agencies, she has established the most effective strategies to raise scores and improve test taking ability.  Marguerita is also a writer, currently working on a collection of nonfiction essays.
